Maximize windows on MacOS without installing 3rd party window management software for ex-windows users

In windows, you can double-click the titlebar of a window in order to maximize that window. On a mac, you can accomplish the same; however, you’ll need to ensure the following is set.
Click the Apple icon (topmost-left of screen) > System Preferences > Dock > Check “Double-click a window’s title bar to” the Select “Zoom” from dropdown.
This allows a shift+double-click on any title-bar to toggle between a maximized and non-maximized window.
This is not to be confused with Fullscreen mode; which is usually not what windows users are looking for.
